Did you do a clean install or an upgrade? If you did not have to reinstall your programs, you have an upgrade.

If you did an upgrade, the problems that you are having will only be the beginning. My advice would be to reinstall, using the clean install method. If you did a clean install, let us know and we can help you.

You will want to change your default homepage: Change Internet Explorer General settings.

Did you export your Favorites to import now after reinstall?

I really like the Favorites button for quick access to my Faves, and the history tab lets your sort every place you've been to quickly go back there.
