Dreaded BSOD (0x7f)

I've been getting these BSODs lately and I'm at a loss at what to do about this.

I've ran Memtest for 3 passes and had no errors.


I'm using Windows 7 x64
I've had the hardware installed in this rig from near the start of the year and bought a new HDD in April and installed Windows 7 on that and gave my old HDD to my brother.
Everything was fine for awhile when I started to get problems when playing games
(I was playing L4D2 the first time it happened) or watching videos. It's random too so it can be fine for days then crash.

I've also had my PC freeze and the sound plays in slow robot voice for a few seconds and stops.

xusb21.sys,Your XBox Controller driver was blamed. I would suggest to download and install fresh copy of it.

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Stop code 7F are potentially caused by 3rd party firewall. In looking through your drivers, I see that you have AVG anti virus installed. AVG is known to cause BSOD, on some systems. I suggest that you uninstall it while trouble shooting using the uninstall tool > Info > Tool (32bit) - Tool (64 bit). If you have AVG Identity Protection installed, uninstall it also >Info > Tool[FONT=&quot]. I recommend that you install MSE and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on.

Running memtestx86 for 3 passes is not enough, at least 5 pass.

Probably caused by : NETIO.SYS ( NETIO!CompareSecurityContexts+6a )

I did everything you said to do and so far it's seems to be okay, but I'll wait a few days just to be sure.

I redid Memtest for over 5 passes and the it had no errors, still better safe than sorry.

Wait, hold on.
I'm an idiot. I forgot to remove AVG and install MSSE.
Will I wait a little longer with AVG gone or do you guys still want the dump?

If you upload the dump, I'll take a look at it, but don't worry about it. If the BSODs persist, upload the new dumps.

ok no worry,
I should of missed it first time. Please remove Zone Alarm complete out from your system. Third party Firewall are notorious for causing BSODs.

Now to play the waiting game.

Thought I removed sptd.sys but I guess I didn't. huh.
