driver for usb safety plug for solidworks 2007

Hello

i have solidworks 2007 that work with safety plug ( connect to usb).

I just upgrate my OS to win 7 X 64 . the safety plug that not recםgnize by windows.

how can i get a driver for that plug ??

Hi zorkin, Welcome to the forums Have you updated the Sentinel drivers for the dongle ? You may have to contact the people who you got solidworks from , Do a google search for who supplied the dongle and see if they have updated drivers on their website

The problem is that the company that sopply the software dosent support the old version (2007) .

I can find in the net many app that offer to scan my computer and try to find the driver i need. but i dont realy trast all that exe files.

i wonder if there is a win7 X64 driver for dongle.

Hi zorkin, As I stated you have to contact your reseller they should be able to supply a new encoded dongle for you , I think from SW2010 onwards they did aways with the dongle and went for stand alone activation ,Is there any chance you could afford to upgrade to 1 of these later versions ?
