Solved driver help best software or tricks to use

hi i just reinstalled windows 7 64 bit again what is the best way to update drivers for my pc?? and update bios as well i dont trust software much because you are allowing them onto your pc and your security is down and they could modify anything on your pc!! did a manual update it found some drivers for my wanminiport last time i updated my drivers i used iobit driver update tool can anyone advise me the best method thank you

Don't use commercial paid driver updaters, those are 'snake oil' solutions and can sometimes wreck your Windows installation. If everything works you shouldn't bother about driver updates (if ain't broke don't fix it). The hardware manufacturer website is the best place for drivers. Additionally, Windows Update will generally offer the WHQL drivers with the latest features or bug/vulnerability fixes provided by the respective manufacturers. You shouldn't worry about driver updates, except for graphics drivers which are usually updated monthly.

For pre-built desktops and laptops, it's best to use drivers from the manufacturer's website.
