Solved driver hp 840 in win7 64bit

Hello I've a win7 64 bit, but my hp 840 printer doesn't work and I'm not able to find te right drivers. Does anybody help me? Thanks!!

Hi welcome to the forum. HP support site said it does not support that printer any more. Plug in printer to a USB port and go to device manager and post the hardware ID here maybe we can get a driver for it.

Vista drivers will probably work.

Alternatively,you could try Drivers & Software for HP Universal Print Driver for Windows - HP Support Center.

Will upload drivers for you if you need.

D/L this zip file prnhp001x64.zip.

Rt click it>properties>unblock>apply>ok. Then extract it.

Open device manager, rt click the printer, selct update driver, then browse to the prnhp001.inf_65b34c6a folder you extracted.
