drivers for amd radeon 7670 m

hi friends,

i have a laptop hp pavillion g6 2137 tx with graphics card AMD RADEON 7670 M.The problem with my laptop is that i dont have driver for the mentioned graphics card.can anybody please help me in this regard.

And when you say you do not have drivers, do you mean graphic drivers are not installed at all or you do not have latest drivers installed. If you do not have latest drivers and want to update the drivers. I would suggest you to first uninstall the old drivers and the clean the leftovers of old drivers with "Driver Sweeper". Once the PC is clean from leftovers, install the downloaded drivers.

Hi there .. Just curious did your Laptop originally have 64 Bit OS ? .. The reason i ask this is because on the HP website there is no Drivers available for the 32 Bit Version ...

If your laptop has dual graphics I would try the PC manufacturers site first, and look for drivers for your specific model. The HP driver will be customized for your dual graphics setup. Otherwise the auto select or switch on the fly functionality may not work correctly. If you can't find what you need there, then I would start looking elsewhere.

@maxie - yes ,i did have 64 bit OS on my laptop which got corrupted and i installed the 32 bit ultimate.

@alphanumeric- btw what does dual graphics means?, because i have intel and readeon amd and graphics card installed and i have searched for the drivers in the official hp website but in vain because they dont have drivers for 32 bit os for my model.

Quit a few laptops will have dual graphics. My ASUS K75DE has an APU, its a CPU with GPU on it. APU = Advanced Processing Unit, CPU = Central Processing Unit, GPU = Graphics Processing Unit. It also has a dedicated video card with its own dedicated video RAM. It has a AMD Radeon® HD 7660G + 7670M. It can switch between the two on the fly. If for example I'm on battery and need to save power it can use the 7660G. If I'm tethered and playing a game it can use the 7670M. For this to work the correct drivers have to be installed. Both of my are AMD so I can likely go right to AMD for my driver. Intel makes APU's too. Having them mixed and matched though like say Intel and Nvidia can be an issue. The two separate drivers may not work well together. The PC manufacturer usually makes custom drivers for these scenarios. That's why I recommend getting them from the PC manufacturer if you can.
