Drivers for Dell N5010

I have dell n5010 machine running 32 bit of windows 7....i couldn;t find supporting drivers at Dell wesbite as Dell provides drivers only for the 64 bit on its website....Can someone help me what can i do ...

All you need to do is get the drivers form the source. I just installed Windows 7 x64 Home Premium on one of these laptops last week. Windows 7 finds most of what you need, but the chipset drivers can be found at Intel.com and then you should know the rest of the hardware...and where to find them. Intel or Nvidia or ATI for graphics depending on how you configured the laptop.

Anytime you are installing an OS that isn't listed on Dell's site, just go to each part manufacturer's webpage to find the drivers you need. For example, if you have an Intel Wireless card, go to Intel.com and download the drivers for the model you have. People make this out to be a challenge, but it's actually very simple.

Ahhh..thanks D.frost.....but still it's difficult to find drivers for other hardware...i cant find drivers....can u sort me out some website...Thanks in advance !

There's no website I can give you, unfortunately. You know what hardware is in the laptop, so you'll know what you need. Look at the example, I gave. Let's say it has an Intel chipset, Intel graphics, and Intel wireless. That's three of your primary drivers from one site. Just take a look at your specs, and you'll know where to go for them.

Yes, win7 can use a lot of Vista drivers, may have to run in compatability mode.

That would work, but I'd only use it as a last resort. I think you are making this out to be a MUCH larger ordeal than it really is. You definitely want to have your chipset and network drivers saved to a flash drive or somewhere like it right away. Then you can at least get online and let Window Update run to find some of the drivers as well. Honestly, this takes about 10 minutes to gather all the drivers and be ready to install Windows 7. Relax and take a deep breath. You'll be laughing when it is done at how simple it was.

but what if probleems occured in future due to incompatibilty ??

Hey friends i also have the same make of Dell laptop. My problem is same. I want to install xp-home-32-bit as second os but dell website don't have drivers for that. I don't know where to look for driver details on my pc. Even if i found it on my pc those will be for Win7-64-bit.What to do? I'm totally disappointed regarding the matter. How and where to look for compatible drivers for 32 bit os-this is my basic problem.

i would think there wouldnt be any problem running xp. most hardware is backward compatible.
