Hi,

Ok I have installed windows 7 I have installed the Nvidia drivers through auto update is this ok or shouold I have done it another way? Also I need the chipset drivers for this board. GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Overview - GA-965P-DQ6 (rev. 1.0) I have tried the Vista ones but it says opearting system not supported. Can you please advise me where I can get the chipset drivers for windows 7? Also any one found windows 7 Creative drivers for the Extreme gamer edtion? I can only find the Vista drivers but will these still work ok?

Any one? Also can you please let me know why my other Hard Drive is showing up has unlabled drive, this is the one with vista on it. I have windows 7 set up as a dual boot. Is it ok to rename the vista drive or could this muck it up?

1. I installed the Nvidia driver from update and it is working fine for me.
2. Did you try installing the new mobo driver through device manager? Also you could try installing in compatibility mode for Vista. Info here if needed: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html
3. Vista drivers should work. Again may need compatibility mode.

Thanks for your reply.

I have now got the drivers installed. Do you know why this drive is not showing up in my computer in windows 7? See attached picture.

Hi Wizkid, you need to assign a drive letter to it and then it will fine, by default Windows 7 hides the primary partition on install but it does not effect anything if you assign a drive letter afterward and that's what I had to do with mine also, personally I always select "B" as my drive letter because I find it's always left out for some reason , I mean whats so bad about B, also when you boot back into your other OS it will still be seen as C drive so don't stress.

Changing the name of the drive in seven will also change the name of thedrive in Vista.

But as others have said, assigning a new drive letter to make the Vista partition accessible in Seven wont affect Vista.

The only drivers I installed from the manufacturers sites were sound and graphics, all others came via WU.
