Dropped phone in water - rice for 2 days and counting

i recently dropped my backup nokia after losing my blackberry. i left it on and unbalanced surface on top of my sink and i came back 2 mins later and found it turned off, bubbling in the water. i immediately pulled the battery out, stupidly blow dried it on medium - hot settings and now has been in rice for 2 days. this morning i tried to turn it on but a screen come up saying CONTACT SERVICE. i thought i was getting close because of this sign of life, but i never got it again and the phone still wont power on. Back in the rice it went. So what would my next step be.


Phone model - Nokia 2330c(dont comment on crapness)

Dont suggest nothing like get a new phone cos i wont even listen to you, please help!

You can google for other suggestions but in the end you'll end up having to get a new phone...I think the phone spent to much time in the water to be saved.

You could see if you could find one for parts...good luck.

Let it sit in the rice and change the rice every day for a week. Then, put it together and plug it in to let it charge. Let it charge fully. Then, while plugged in, try to power it on. If that doesn't work, try to repair it using the suggested guide above.
