Im sorry I do not understand. I did not download anything. When I had vista I was sick of it and i formated C:\ and just installed windows onto it.

I have an XP installed desktop behind me. Can I possibly get those SATA drivers?

I don't see anything but notebooks. This is beginning to become too much work. I think i am going to fall back on this idea.

If the XP HD you already have is the same version as the one you want to use on the Dual Boot, you can move it's HD or image into the problem computer, unplug the Win7 HD while you run an XP Repair install to adjust to new hardware: XP Repair Install - Part 1 of 2

After XP starts, plug back in Win7 HD, set it first to boot in BIOS setup, then when you want XP boot it using ESC one-time BIOS Boot Menu key.

You can also image XP onto the unallocated space using Macrium Reflect, Paragon 11 freeware or Acronis free premium cloning or imaging app if you have any WD or Seagate HD involved. Once it's imaged onto the partition, run the XP Repair Install to start it, then add Win7 to dual boot following steps given in Method Two here: Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP.
or start Win7 by marking it Active and running Startup Repair up to 3 separate times, install EasyBCD to add XP to Dual Boot which can be easier. Use older free version of Easy.

Why do you refuse to help us to help you?

1) Specs Compaq, Compaq what?

2) We ask for a screenshot of Win XP setup, you post a video of Windows 7 DM, no use to us.
But looks like you are deleting H: & extending C: Why?

3) Refuse to read posts.

4) Added abit more to your specs, desktop Presario, Compaq Presario what?

5) In the Compaq link there are only three Sata Controllers Drivers listed,
General XP Downgrade Guide for HP Laptops - HP Support Forum
which one is yours?

6) In your post from
http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/105483-dual-booting-xp-7-a.html
abit more specs, which shows you do not have a Intel Sata Controller.
Now down to two,
which one is yours?
