Dual boot question

Hello,
I thought it might be a good idea to make a dual boot system,so I can
gradually tweak my system to upgrade to W10.
But...


Can I "tweak"all installed programms so they work under w10 and under w7?

No need to tweak programs, programs that work under win7 will work under win10.

The default win10 interface and the default win10 control over your machine is a lot different than win7 though and most of us here do not like it. You can change both pretty easily though.

Well why not first try a virtual machine and see if your old programs work on Windows 10?
