Just wondering if anyone knows if 7 will support dual clone monitors with different resolutions. This would make me happy.

I don't think that can be done. For different resolutions, you need to extend the displays.

ugh. that's not good. this problem was supposed to be fixed with Vista. No reason for this not to be fixed in Windows 7. It's extremely common for peeps to have their computers and entertainment centers hooked up together nowadays, so I have no idea why Microsoft would continue to drop the ball here.

presentation mode works just like this. you can have a different resolution on the projector than on the laptop itself.

For the love of god!, i was so disappointed about the lack of this feature!
I have my pc and tv in seperate rooms in that way extending the desktop to the tv to get full hd isn't a very good idea. Its like being blind!
Seriously, isn't there a way to fix this ?
