Dual Mon. Win7 logo question?

Hi,
just got my new rig yesterday
also 2 monitors.

a qusetion,
why when i boot up
the Windows Loading screen(STARTING.....with the windows flying towards the sceen)

only the dvi monitor gets it, the other one with hdmi shows not connected...
then on the welcome page, the hdmi monitor gets it...
weird...

i know is not a problem

But, is it possible to have both monitors have both the starting screen n welcome screen???!

im running win7 ult, 64bit
geforce gtx 550 ti

PS: if anyone know would be great, my HDD is 2tb, (19xxgb)
well i wanna split into 3, system; work; nonwork.

but when i go into disk mang. i can only shrink 930gb from my 19xxgb...

i wanted to go like 150gb sys 1000gb work 800 on other....

but only letrs me shrink 900....any idea??

Its a function of the Video card and as far as I know you can't change it. My GT220 has VGA, DVI and mini HDMI. If I connect a monitor to the VGA connector it displays the POST screen. If I connect another monitor to the DVI connector the POST screen switches to that monitor and only shows on that monitor. Same thing with the Windows Loading screen. I don't get both monitors until I get to my desktop. Personally I like it that way, my DVI connected monitor is my main screen.
