Dual Monitor (Monitor+HDTV) Setup, HDTV Resolution Problem

I apologize if this issue has been brought up before, I tried searching but it's tough trying to find stuff sometimes.
But here's the problem, like the subject says I have a dual monitor setup.
I can move windows media center to my 40" HDTV from my 26" LCD Monitor and it's fine. I can play movie do whatever I need. And the resolution on my tv is full 1080p res, 1920x1080 obviously, but here lies the problem. Whenever I full screen windows media center on my HDTV it changes my resolution. I'm not sure to what, but it's extremely small. It's clearly not anywhere close to 1080 resolution or even 720 resolution. Does anyone know what the deal is? Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 8600GT, drivers are updated to the most recent.

There wouldn't really be a point of a screenshot. Let me just try to explain this a little better.

I open up WMC on my first monitor and drag it over to my 40" HDTV.

The resolution on my HDTV is obviously full HD, 1920x1080 resolution. BUT, once I MAXIMIZE WMC on my HDTV, the resolution changes to some awful resolution, I'm not sure what exactly. It's not a HD resolution or anything near it.

But, if I window mode WMC, I can drag WMC to make it as big as my HDTV resolution and it'll be fine. Just once I hit maximize, it changes the resolution and I can't get it to HD.

I see now, that is rather weird. Unfortunately, nothing comes to mind for a fix. The only advice I would be able to give is like that of a doctor who tells you not to touch the spot that hurts if it hurts only when you touch it.

I'm sure someone else who deals with spanning multiple monitors on a regular basis can chime in with insight.

What's the resolution on your computer monitor?

Well, I kind of left a small part out, I'm not 100% sure this has anything to do with it anyways. I actually have 3 monitors, 19" monitor 1440x resolution, a 26" HD Monitor with 1920x1200 resolution, and my HDTV.

Whenever I hook my HDTV up, I have to turn off one (19") of my monitors. And then I have to restart, but I feel like that shouldn't cause any issues relating to this problem.

A lot of programs (games mostly) do resize your desktop when put into full screen mode.

I've never used WMC so I don;t know if thats one but it would seem to make sense that it might.

I'd pretend it's a game and look for a setting that sets it full screen mode resolution.

That's a good thought behind that, but I've never had this problem before. It just started happening.
