Im using 2 Monitors atm, but sometimes I want to watch some movie and I just pluged it in. And I cant seem to get it to work. In Catalyst Control center I can see the 2 Monitors and the TV, But when I try and Clone one of them It forces me to dissable another one first.

I read on some other Forum that the 4800 Series only supports 2 screens.

Im not sure if it was correct info or not, so Im trying to find more peoples knowlage about it, or if there is some way to go around it.

I dont care if the TV is a clone of the 2nd screen, or a screen of its own.

Wolfbane, welcome to the Seven Forums.

You read correctly, the HD 4xxx series only supports a combination of two displays using 2 of the 3 ports. You want to add a 3rd display you need either another card or something from the HD 5xxx series and up.

Oki, First, Big tnx for the fast reply.

I usally dont fiddle around with these kinds of things.

But is it possible in some way to use the motherboards default grafic cards to support the "TV" or one of the Minitors. The make the total outcome to 3 "screens" ?

If so do I need some kind of software?

Without know the make and model of your motherboard, no. Likely not, but it is possible on some.

I can tell you that it is more than possible on any AMD chipset based motherboard with integrated graphics (not sure exactly when it started, but anything from the 6xx series and up) and when used with an AMD video card, does allow the use of both the onboard and the video card for up to 4 monitors at a time. It is also possible on some Nvidia chipset based boards with integrated graphics and select Nvidia cards.

What you were asking about,

But is it possible in some way to use the motherboards default grafic cards to support the "TV" or one of the Minitors.

isn't going to happen as that motherboard doesn't have any integrated graphics.

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS P5P43TD PRO

With your current system if you want to use more than two monitors you have a few options,

1. A new video card that supports more than two monitors, like one from the HD 5xxx series and up.

2. Add a cheap (if you can find one) PCI card as that motherboard only has extra PCI slots and no extra PCI-E slots that you could add a card too.

3. Something like this, Newegg.com - DIAMOND HD USB Video Adapter Plus w/ 3 Port USB Hub BVUMD3 USB to DVI Interface
