For a long time I've been using dual monitors, a small 4:3 one (1280x1024) and a large widescreen one (1920x1080). I have this set up with a software, DisplayFusion, to manage my desktops separately. I never changed any setting related to my displays but one day randomly after restarting, the monitors somehow had got mixed up, and I can't fix it back. When extended, it's as if each monitor thinks it's the other monitor's resolution, and the way I had the icons/taskbars/desktops setup is switched around. So this has me with a blown up and cut off display on the smaller monitor that spreads about halfway across the larger monitor then the taskbar cuts off into a black bordered mess. The only thing that is still working correctly is that it still recognizes which monitor is supposed to be on left or right. If I try showing desktop on only one monitor, it always wants to show only the smaller monitor ("main" one) configuration regardless of which monitor I put it on. I've tried running it without the third party software, no difference. I've done everything you can think of under display settings. I'm lost, does anyone have any idea how to fix my monitors? I can only use one at a time the way it is now.
