Sounds like the monitor has the issue and not the cards. Excuse me....looks like ! lol

1 monitor is on 1 card and there is 1 on the other card. And yes I have gotten the updated video card drivers from Amd, not MSI.

As far as I know if Crossfire is enabled, dual monitors only works when both are connected to a single card.

So, here is my predicament. This a computer from a former employee, and when an employees leaves the computer goes to next person in line. I was doing a clean install of windows 7 64x when the monitor quit working if thats what it is. The monitor still has power, and everytime I have switched the video cards the bottom video card does not work. Now tell me what the issue is?

Do you have access to a hdmi cable?

I wish that I did, because if I had that this wouldn't be an issue.

Are you sure you've installed all the needed drivers? Open up device manager and double check, looking for the yellow triangles.

Yes I'm positive I have all drivers, Both monitors show up under device manager. but only one works

Have you done a re-boot with both monitors attached?

I see thread is marked solved, did you try something that worked? was there resolution to the problem and what was it......just curious?
