Dual Monitor Setup

Hey, im new around here and new to windows 7. I recently installed it for the benefit of it being faster than windows vista and Dx11. My question is i have a BENQ E2200HD and a Dell CRT monitor. What i use to be able to do with windows XP was allow my BENQ to be read as a TV and be able to watch HDMI 1080p movies. While on my CRT i would be able to up the hertz to 120 with reforce for gaming.

The problem now is my computer is reading them as joint monitors and wont let me up my CRT hertz past 85hz and my BENQ is being read as DVI, even though its HDMI. This in turn causes tearing in videos and not as crisp clear as it use to be.

Setup:
Q6600 - OC to 3.0
Corsair ram - 4GB oc to 1000mhz
BFG GTX 275
Gigabyte motherboard

Well theyre two completly diff monitors and before i installed windows 7 i was able to have my BENQ read as a TV and my CRT read as the main monitor. While if i were to go to one or the other i had to switch only to one and wasnt allowed to switch to both. Now i can switch to both on and i DONT want this, i want the be able to watch my HD movies again with no tear and have my gaming up to 120hz

well it sounds like a driver issue, so can I presume you have tried the latest video driver? Sometimes with a new OS, the latest driver doesn't always provide the same functionality that a more "seasoned" driver provided with past OS's, so there's not much you can do if there's some missing functionality in the driver that works with 7.
