Hi
Awaiting delivery of Asus P6X58E D motherboard, i7 9300, Kingston KHX1600C9D3K3/6GX memory and doing advance checks
I have been unable to get information for the Asus EN9500GT/DI/1GD2/V2 Graphics card.
Can anyone advise :
1) do you have to connect PCIe power to the card ?
2) if not what are pins j11 for?
3) the bandwidth (8 or 16 ?)
Also, the Asus memory QVL indicates that I can fully populate the slots with 2x KHX1600C9D3K3/6GX (XMP) sticks but also state "Due to Intel spec definition, XMP DIMMS and DDR-1600 are supported for one DIMM per channel only" so exactly how does the motherboard respond if I follow the QVL with the above memory ? Do I have to set something in the BIOS or will it simply adapt by cranking the speed down to 1333 and ignoring the XMP ?
Thanks
