Enabling SLi in 64bit

I visited slizone and their ws a post about writeing a vshScript to enable it. Whatever I can't belive Nvidia would release a driver that won't let you enable SLI. Frankly I give up I've got Hours and hours of searching on this an nobody has any answers. So I will wait till a driver update or till someone figures it out I tell ya it's a cryn shame booo hoo

I apologize that I couldn't be of assistance but it may seem that it is NVIDIA's fault. Have you tried a driver that is a few revisions back?

I have tried 5 different drivers and even a newer version of Nview nothing changes the fact that the first thing that hapens is you get a screen saying in order to enable this some programs must be shut down. Nview of course the exact program that allows you to enable SLi and Physix. I went to the Nvidia site and filed a form on issues with drivers. It's a wait and see deal at best. But appreciate the help. Fabe

Hi, have you installed everything for your motherboard, from the download page at Asus, because I think that is where you should start.
If not here it is, in your System specs it just says the name of your motherboard is P5n,
well there is no P5n on the list at Asus, so you may want to get the rest of the letters
for your board. This page is P5n-d so if it is not the right one, just search yourself here.

Hey Jfar. In my system specs it says P5ND. And yes I have the latest bios 1101, the newest chipset drivers. I've even tried the newer Forceware beta drivers. I do appreciate your input. I started to think well maybe it had something to do with the chipset drivers not playing nice so I updated them. Hell since I upgraded to the 7600 RTM I only got the SLI bubble in the lower right hand corner 1 time i don't even get that anymore and like I said I tried the what 190.84 beta. Just feel like I'm beating a dead horse here. Hell I've posted this on the SLiZone, Nvidia, and several other forums I'm sure the forum world is tierd or reading about it. It just makes no sence to me at this point. I'm thinking sell both cards get 1 big one or one with dual gpus. thanks Fabe

Just another basic suggestion (not to sound patronising), but which graphic card is the monitor connected to? It needs to be connected to the graphic card that's closest to the CPU as the 2nd graphic card has its output ports switched off when SLI is enabled.

If this is directed to me it is connected to the first PCI-e card, tried both connections, switched cards, tried new beta driver, updated bios, chipset drivers. zilch, nada, noway, forget it! Just won't let me SLI I'm begining to take it personaly I think my tower is giving me the stink eye. Fabe
