So, I faced this problem 2 years ago, yet, I can't solve it.

A few years back, I've got a new Toshiba Satellite C850-B797 laptop. It came with Windows 7 64-bit, few months later I forced to format it and install a new Windows; However, since that time, I'm locked out of ANY 64-bit version of Win.

Though, ANY 32-bit version of Win will install without problem (WHY??).

The error code is 0x80070570
I've searched the internet and even did my personal research, but with no luck.

It just stops at 17% while installing, and gives that error.

What I've tried:
- Installing from 4 different USB sticks. (Couldn't use CD/DVD, the driver isn't functional).
- Trying different USB ports both 3.0 and 2.0
- Trying different SATA modes, both IDE and AHCI.
- Swapping out and removing the RAMs.
- Wiping out the HDD many times even with dban.
- Trying many ISOs and different Windows versions (7, 8, and 10).

Out of all of that, 32-bit installs perfectly, but 64-bit is NOT.

Why? What is the problem?
Thanks in advance for any kind of help.

Stupid me....
The title says: "Error 0x80070570 when installing ANY 32bit version of Windows"
But my problem is with 64bit

Just changed it now.

Note: if you are still confused, my real problem is with 64bit versions.
The correct title is: "Error 0x80070570 when installing ANY 64bit version of Windows"

If it install Win 7 32 but not Win 7 64 can be a corrupted media.
Try to use another media. Download form MS - Win 7

I had this problem reinstalling Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit on an old HP Small Form Factor Business machine. I fixed it by going into the bios > STORAGE> STORAGE OPTIONS> and switch the SATA Emulation from LEGACY(IDE) to NATIVE(AHCI).
