I recently got a virus on my PC and managed to get rid of it. I was using TDSS killer and it somehow removed my svchost.exe -k netsvrs file from registry and I am almost positive this is why I cannot start it. Although I do not know how to fix it. I am running windows 7 ultimate x64. If anyone could give me some input on how I might fix this registry problem I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks!

See if the file is existing under C:\windows\system32.
For me it's dated of 14-july-09 and the size is 27KB only.

Well I got it figured out, it turns out that it had deleted some data within the netsvcs file within the registry, all I had to do was add themes to the list and it automatically put in the binary data and bam its working now, thanks again though!
