hello.

i have never tried installing windows before, it was my first time. i installed windows 7 on windows xp following this tutorial 3 Ways to Install Windows 7 - wikiHow

everything went fine.. i took out the Windows 7 installation cd and then i restart my computer and it showed "press F1 to reboot, press f2 for setup utility". i tried f1 it again showed the same line i.e."press F1 to reboot, press f2 for setup utility". i pressed f2, but didn't know what to do there.. as i have never done these kind of things..

kindly help me with this.. really need to use my computer. as i am a student..

thanks..

Rosh

You may need to go into your bios and make sure your boot priority is set to the Hard drive you installed windows on.

When your PC is starting, depending on your Bios, you need to press DEL or F2. Just look for the message that tells you which one it is. Keep pressing it.

Do you by chance know what your PC is and what Bios and version you're using? I could then tell you exactly how to get there.
