Hallo;
I have previously been a member of this forum but lost all record of my Username/Password in a rebuild of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
Attempts to update Windows Defender are consistently returning error code 800B0109
I've followed the procedures outlined in https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/10164/fix-windows-update-errors but hit "Access is denied" while attempting to apply, in a .bat file:
See attached file.
If it's relevant I've set Owner to "Everyone" with Full Control permission as part of fixing other errors.
And added "Take Ownership" to the context menu.
Is there a way to fix 800B0109 error without spending a lot of money on programs that don't do what they claim?
Eric
