Solved Error codes 800B0100 and 8007065E

Thanks, The Brinks tutorial answered my questions. For the information of those even more ignorant than me I did the following. I temporarily installed WIN7 on another hard drive (my ‘Main’ drive). I then used that program to format my SSD. I wanted a normal setup including a System Reserved partition but wanted to be sure there was no ‘corruption’ in my existing System Reserved. So using Disk Management I added a drive letter to System Reserved, then formatted it then deleted it. As experts will know “101MB Unallocated” was then displayed. I then formatted and deleted the partition that had contained the original WIN7. So then the whole of my SSD was available as ‘Unallocated’. This what WIN7 likes apparently in order to proceed with a clean install.
The rest went to plan. I now have reached a point where Windows Update tells me no more updates to install. I did have 3 failed updates, but I only know that by looking down the list. WIN7 is unconcerned. And also I can access C:\Windows\Temp, so success and thank you NoelDP for your efforts.
