Error Installing .NET Framework - Is Pending Win10 Upgrade Problem?

Hello,

I have tried everything possible to install .NET Framework on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit PC and I keep being given the following error:

attachment.php

I have tried multiple fixes from videos and articles I have found online but none of them have worked. I even uninstalled all of my previous .NET Framework installs and this will still not install.

My guess is that the pending install that it is referring to is the Windows 10 Upgrade here:

If that is the case, I need some help in removing this pending Windows 10 upgrade because nothing I have tried has worked so far.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated--this is preventing me from using my new label printer and setting up a VPN.

Thanks, but the only answer it's giving me there is to keep restarting which I have done multiple times.

Are you using win7 SP1- pesumably you are as it is offering you the win10 "upgrade" and is it up to date?

Another thing you could try is a restore point to a time before you got that win10 message.

It is a far up to date as I can get before it stopped updating prior to wanting to install Windows 10. I have just tried disabling all updates and restarting after running disk cleanup and it seems to finally be installing now that the Windows 10 upgrade doesn't seem to be pending. :D
