ES File Explorer (mobile app) has full access to all shared resources!

Basically I have a laptop and desktop on my LAN that share a couple of folders. The permissions for those folders are full access for an admin and read only for everyone else.

Now from my HTC desire HD I can open ES file explorer and search for LAN folders and I can access both my laptop and PC and have full access to all my folders, even ones I have never set up to share before.

There are folders listed on ES file explorer (for both the laptop and desktop) such as:

ADMIN$ - when opened from my mobile i can see a long list of system folders.

C$ - full access to the C: drive

D$ - full access to D: drive..

Did you authenticate to your desktop using an admin account?

AND

Do you have admin shares enabled?

If yes to both of these, then what you saw is perfectly normal.
