Hi Folks,
this is not a problem I'm trying to fix, it's just a question.
My image of Event ID 100 shows 'Critical' plus the Boot Duration in xxxxxms.
Does your's show a shorter BD time yet still classed as Critical ?

Welcome
Mine shows error and it takes about 45-60 seconds. Yours takes about 2 minutes. Those classifications (error, critical etc) are based upon the length of time the boot takes. I do not know what is considered normal.

I know my desktop is faster in starting but still shows critical. Makes you wonder, just how accurate Event Viewer is.

I think the classification is based on what is "normal" for your setup. I've noticed Critical, error and warnings all at around the same boot time over the last two years.

It seems the settings for Event Viewer & Windows Experience Index were calibrated for high spec computers.

If you select each critical event then click the Details tab you should get some idea of why the error occurs.

However, if as you say, the settings were calibrated for high spec computers and your boot times aren't being degraded there's not too much to worry about.

That's only my non professional opinion.
