Event ID 10016 -- DCOM permissions error

great thread...fixed my error on windows 7 64 bit pro... that started after i installed new network printer canon pixma iP7200 wireless. it was from driver and had to go in hidden admin acct to change permissions for registry change... followed the 8 steps a user above linked to on a page... only found out thru this thread so thanks to all :) and another link from there on command to get hidden admin acct.

box built by Puget Systemsback in late Dec 2008 early i7 guy. had it built for my photography work with large raw files from Nikon D700 using Nikon NX2 and some lite music work from bundle that came with Xonar card.... Sonar, Ableton, Cakewalk, etc.

Stable as can be average around 9 to 10 using Windows 7 64 Reliability History.
Hey guys, I've been trying to get my PC straightened out... I'm still not quite sure if it's got software or hardware issues or both. but I have this error popping up and I've tried all these steps to fix it with no success. I took ownership and gave permissions in regedit... then used the dcomcnfg but the options are greyed out in the security tab. Help me out here

Make sure you give full control to Admin and System for this key:
{344ED43D-D086-4961-86A6-1106F4ACAD9B}

That will open up the ability to edit IpBusEnum in dcomcnfg. However, I'm not sure you even need to do that. It looks like to me the default settings already grant the System Local Launch.
