event ID 36887

Hi. I just joined. I have brand new HP desktop computer with Windows 7 64 bit. It's been running for a few days. I opened the event viewer and am seeing this error multiple times. event ID 36887 schannel and the description says The following fatal alert was received: 80. I have searched the internet for an answer but am unable to find with fatal alert 80. I would appreciate any help.

I have discovered that this error happens whenever I open or leave open hotmail. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the hotmail page and I'm not experiencing any other issues. Still searching or hoping someone can help me find why I'm getting this "schannel" error, but now have it narrowed down to hotmail.
