Hello, at my job we have Microsoft exchange. Prior to this we used a webmail serivice. When we originally switched over, I had two sections with inbox, sent, etc. One was the old one with all of my old emails, and the other (on top) was the new exchange inbox.

I recently switched computers and copied all of my user data but for some reason, outlook only shows the exchange inbox and not my old one (which has neccessary emails). Why would this happen? When I log into the old webmail that housed these emails and nothing is there. It was there last week prior to switching computers.

I am using windows 7 pro, office 13 outlook exchange.

Sorry if that is confusing. I guess what I want to know is, where did my old emails go prior to switching to exchange? They were in there before switching computers, so I am not sure why they would have disappeared!

They were probably stored in a Outlook data file (PST). if so, You will need to copy the file to your new PC.

You may need to set up an additional account to the old mail server and set it to that uses the PST file.

You can also copy the PST file from the old computer. and import the data.

If it were mine, I would import all the email from the old account into the Exchange mail folders. One way to do this is with bother opened in Outlook., simply drag th message from the old PST folders tot folders in Exchange.
