AT times when using Windows 7 Pro, I get an error message from Explorer.exe gas crashed and it closes and then restarts over. I did check that I have the latest updates and did several times SFC file checker - sfc /scannow and all is ok and no errors found. I did check Microsoft help and removed two things from the registry but this has not helped me at all. Tried the website - (Solved) How to fix Windows Explorer has stopped working error and tried this method and in reg of contextmenuhandler, I removed winrar and winrar32

CHeck antivirus and Malwarebytes and system is good.

Startup is realtex and HP printer ink alert that is all thats there

Gave you a list of the services running on the machine.

I don't know how often this occurs but-

Set a system restore point.

Run msconfig.exe.

In the Services tab, check the box to "hide all Microsoft......" Then, check "disable all." Apply the change.

In the Startup tab, check "disable all."

Reboot.

Do your normal things.

Does that help?
