Explorer.exe crashes when I interact with the desktop

So, recently my pc had a booting problem, in which my laptop boots for 1 minute and I get BSODd. I did some research on the error and checked what might've caused this on bluescreen viewer, then I found out the cause was AVG. So I booted my laptop in safe mode and deleted AVG and every trace of it off my computer with revo uninstaller. I solved the booting problem, but now whenever I try to interact with my desktop - explorer doesn't respond and restarts itself every time, kind of forming and endless loop of constant crashing. When it restarts an error message pops up saying windows is unable to open steam and any other program whatsoever that isn't associated with microsoft. one time when I finally opened steam and tried to load up Borderlands 2 - surprise surprise, the loader didn't even pop up, even though a process of it was running. Also every error code has random numbers mashed in saying it's missing. It even crashes when I try to close those errors.

Also, sometimes I hear these weird clicking sounds coming out of my laptop, doesn't matter if I mute my audio. it kind of sounds like an echoey finger flick.
