Windows 7 64 bit
4 gb Ram
originally had Vista 64 bit but I got a free upgrade disc from HP through a promotion
HP model DV7-1273cl
Got it Refurb about a year ago

Works fine in safe mode
I would like to point out that this started after I updated Windows (Through Windows Updater)
I have uninstalled the updates but that didnt help (so i reinstalled them)
I have scanned completely with Latest Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and it didnt help

Also ALL My System Restore Points just disappeared after this started so I can't use it

I have The BSOD file thing but The System Health Report (at least in safe mode) doesnt give me anything just says "Error - An Error occured while attempting to generate the report. The system cannot find the path specified."

Oh and from this I got Blue Screens Twice

When you upgraded, Did you do a clean install?

Or did you just upgrade your existing Vista install?

I'm not really too knowledgeable about reading bsod dump files, so I can't really attempt that for you.

Just give the thread a bit of time, there are some very good bsod analysists around. It is a slower part of the day at this time on the boards.

I'm not a very big fan of upgrading systems, and most on here will concur.

My recommendation would be to just clean install 7. Your system will be lighter, faster, and more stable

I put in a request for analysis of your dump files.

So i would give the thread a bit of time and see what other recommendations members have.

Hi,

This appears to be a disk error. So to start with - run a checkdisk.

START -> type cmd.exe -> Right-click -> run as admin -> type chkdsk /r /f -> Press Y at prompt -> restart computer.

Also, Kaspersky is a potential problem here so remove it ASAP.
