I have an Acer Aspire 5732Z as my main monitor with a Philips 19PFL3504D TV as the second monitor. My problem is when I wake the laptop from sleep the Philips says "Format Not Supported". The only way to get a display is to unplug the vga cable and replug it. Then my laptop auto arranges all desktop icons, moving any icons on the Philips to the laptop. If the Philips monitor doesn't give the "Format Not Supported" message all will be ok.
I put the laptop in sleep mode at night and shut the Philips off. This doesn't happen in Dual Display Clone, just Extended Desktop. I have auto arrange icons and align icons to grid off.
I do not want to realign my icons every morning. Any ideas about what I can do?
