Extending system disk

Hi,

How can I extend my system partition in Win 7? I managed to shrink my other partition on the same disk with 20GB, but "extend" on system partition is grayed out. If there's some restriction on extending a system volume, are there any third-party programs that can do it? I hear using GParted could be a bit risky?

Disk management in windows doesn't do it (i think) a third party app will. If you search here for disk utilities in software there is a thread with all the free ones. I have used parigon disk suite.

EASEUS Partition Master Home Edition is a good free disk management program that should help you do what you are wanting.
