Fallout 3 New Vegas query??

Just installed this game..Steam again /shudder..I loathe them.
I have a WS Samsung Monitor...1980x1200 Ress but this game is playing in a window with god knows what resolution so how do I enable widescreen mode.

I think this game is also dx 9? what have bethseda been doing the last few years?

Hello simmo,
First thing for me is i never heard of a resolution of 1980X1200, I think its 1920X1200.
For setting this resolution You can go to the video settings of the game and set the resolution, and to full screen mode. Try this and report back or if you have tried it just report it.

nearly all games have got an options menu - fallout new vegas' menu is quite easy to find.

my menu hasn't got 1920x1200, due to my monitor, but yours should have.

what problems are you having with steam?

TY for replys guys but I got it sorted..
Problems with Steam go back years ago when I played CS...If I had a choice I would'nt be using them at all...but I don't so I will wait and see how it goes this time around
