I am trying to install Fan Control software 2.42 I get an error of "An unexpected error occurred. See log file for details." This is going on with more than one pc. Seems like people are saying it runs on W7, but I don't know if maybe an earlier version is needed. I do not even know what log they are referring to. I have seen reports of problems with defender stopping this software. Whether or not how do I allow that, just finding info for W10/11. Otherwise what could it be?
