favourites folder issue (not IE favourites)

Hi,

My "favourites" folder that you find near top left of "computer" or "documents" etcetc isn't working :huhnot the IE favourite folder - annoying) I removed the shortcuts within as they kept coming up with an error, hoping that re'favouriting' them would stop the issue. But now i cant re'favourite' anything at all
Maybe this is because i didnt stop sharing? But I didnt realise they were shared or anything and im guessing the "pathway" is now messed up because its trying to go to "Scasy" but it now says "Scary" - or some such?
