Maybe I just haven't figured out how to do it right, but I'd like to be able to multi-select files one-by-one from the keyboard only, by using the down/up-arrows with the preview window open, selecting the odd file now and then. Doing it with the mouse or arrows and Ctrl key doesn't seem to make the preview available. I know you can select files one-by-one by using the down arrow and Shift key, but I can't figure out how to skip files - to make the selections discontinuous.
I've found this can be done with Free Commander XE - a great bit of file management software BTW - using the NC-Mode/Sticky Selection setting, but there's a lag in displaying the preview, so I'm wondering if this can be done right in Windows Explorer?
