I have been having a problem where files on my hard drive are disappearing for instance after I download it. But it will happen randomnly and most of the files are working fine. So far there are no viruses, I am running chkdsk /f /r now and I did crystaldisk info it says its good but
the write error rate is 100, the worse is 253 and the threshold is zero. Hard disk sentinel states its perfect.

The drive has a lot of data relocated which means there are bad sectors problem is check disk marks them as bad so doesnt then test them so it says all good if some are bad more will be on their way best bet id backup and get a new drive DONT clone it as that will copy bad block to new drive
