Finally bit the bullet

It may come as a surprise to those of you who remember my hatred of windows 8 when it first reared it's ugly head, but l finally dropped the cash on a windows tablet. I was at Best Buy playing with gadgets today and the Asus VivoTab Smart ME400C caught my attention. While most tablets running windows 8 in it's price range use an arm processor this one has an Intel atom allowing it to run most of my legacy software. So far I'm not too displeased with the little guy and I think it will become a front runner in the battery of gadgets I use on a daily basis. Hopefully I will not be cast out of the 7 community :p but what can I say, I have a weakness for electronics.

I agree everything should not look like a cell phone :)
As workarounds and "Blue" is released along with Microsoft realizing windows 8 was not all that much of a hit as they expected possibly windows 8 will be more customizable or at least in the desktop/ laptop user world/ upgraders.
I suppose everyone will eventually migrate to win-8 in time.
Will win-7 be the next x-p ? probably.
