I had some strange happen today. I open Outlook 2010, clicked on Contacts, and saw my list of contacts. I also saw, in the left side frame, my list of five contacts folders. I then looked in each of the folders for a specific contact, but could not find it.
I then searched for the contact and it appeared. I right-clicked on it, selected Move, and moved it into one of the folders. It is now clearly visible there.
My worry/concern is this: There may be other contacts that are not readily visible. Is there some method by which I can find all of the contacts that I do not see listed in any of the folders? If it would help, my outlook.pst is backed up and I can always open the back-up version to try to get more data about the contact that was missing.
