I am using 4.0b9pre (and very happy with it). Do you know if the upgrades/changes included in the 4.0b8 are also included in the 4.0b9pre nightly updates?

Yes, all upgrades and fixes are included in the nightly builds but these are more unstable than the beta

I installed beta 8 earlier today (up from beta 7) and am happy to say it didn't break any extensions. Can't say I notice any difference - very stable. Won't be surprised if it goes gold very soon.

Yeah, has been for a while. Let's hope they don't pull it. It's been known to happen. My statement about downloading the official beta 8 release from only the links you and I have provided still stands.

Hardly noticeable. It even disables my Flashblock booo... Sticking with Beta 7 for a while until some of my addons get upgraded.

Still, the changelogs are very promising.
