Fix a broken MSN Weather gadget

I am fond of the MSN Weather gadget (and I did look at others last night but am not interested in changing). However, the MSN Weather gadget is no longer performing properly. Specifically, today is Mon, 12 Jul, but the five days of forecast shown start from last Wednesday.

So, my question is simply this: Can you either point me to information for fixing this error or tell me what to do to fix this error as I would like to keep this gadget around. Thanks!

I tried, but there is no directory named cache. I removed all gadgets, put them back, but no difference...

When I tried to run that gadget, it says it can't connect to the service.

Other than using a non-Microsoft weather gadget, all I could find to enable it is a modification to a config file which is only good for a few days. I don't think you want to do the latter on a routine basis.
