Flash Drive File Errors

Hello. A few days ago I stored some files on an 8gb flash drive however when I plugged it in, the contents were missing. There was just a file labeled with some odd characters. I checked the drive and it said that some errors were found and fixed and that it placed the files in a folder named "Found".

Some of the files were intact however there were many .CHK file fragments. Is there any way to retrieve or fix these fragmented files?

Your drive is probably formatted as Fat32 and probably some the files got corrupted when you removed the drive when it was writing to it. If it happens constantly, it can be a drive fail.
There is no simple way to retrieve or fix these fragmented files. Just delete them.
I suggest you to copy all flash drive to a HDD and do a complete (not quick) format.
