Hello everyone, I am having horrible issues with FSX on my new computer with Windows 7 64 bit. The game is a 32 bit program but will run great on a 64 bit operating system. You may not be familiar with Flight Simulator but I thought this would be a great place for some help. I have tried several other forums that are specific for Flight Simulator but nobody can help! I am getting this appcrash every time I play the game:
Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61472.0, time stamp: 0x475e17d3
Faulting module name: msvcrt.dll, version: 7.0.7601.17744, time stamp: 0x4eeaf722
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00009d8c
Faulting process id: 0xd70
Faulting application start time: 0x01cdb08842df45c7
Faulting application path: C:\FSX\fsx.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\syswow64\msvcrt.dll
Report Id: bb8891d2-1c7e-11e2-8d05-8c89a51936bf

I know that it is Microsoft visual C++ related and I have 2005 with SP1 (x86) as well as 2008 installed. It seems that it is trying to run in a 64 bit environment hence (syswow64) but I am not sure. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.
