Folders locked on former networked machine

I have a dell optiplex 760 i bought at a auction that was formerly on a network. I got into the machine
and set up my own account. The problem im having is some of the folders are locked and i cannot
access them. Certain folders will have a little box with a up facing arrow on them. These folders
are locked and i cannot put files in them. I assume these were former network shares on the
machines former network. How do i remove these restrictions on the folders? This machine is a non
networked machine now.

Hi welcome to the forum

since this was a used computer with the os intact i would wipe the drive clean and start fresh with a new install of os.
