Fonts all the sudden Bold/Italicized

I used Google Chrome, primarily, but I see a problem in just about any Internet browser I use.

I noticed the other day that all of my fonts on different sites are either bolded or italicized. How can I go about fixing this problem?

I've tried System Restore. Something is wrong with my computer, and it doesn't work for some reason. For some reason, it produces this error:

System restore has encountered an error. Please try to run System restore again. 0x81000203

Security wise, I'm using Bitdefender Total Security 2014.

Any help to restore my fonts to normal would be great. Is there a Reg hack out there that will do the job?

Done. What do I do, now? I've opened up the log file but don't know what to do with it. running SFC /SCANNOW produced the error on the Command Prompt "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."
