I asked this question the first few days of June ????
Membership growing at astronomical rate
Most of you know I watch the "What going On" at the bottom of the forum index page.
I like to see who is online, # of Threads, # of Posts & # of members.
In the past several weeks the new membership rate seems to be increasing at a new member every 1 to 3 minutes. Just 2 weeks ago we had 250,000. Now today 6-3-2013 254,000+.
Could there be a "bot" creating a new member every several minutes. I have seen a few spammers that post the same comment in about 8 posts in a row, until they are reported & banned.
Just my curious nature looking at this

Hey Doc,
Good to see you.
We had to disable the public (non logged in members) from being able to view attachments and/or download anything from the forum areas to prevent other sites from being able to have them directly downloadable at their sites. This does not apply to the Tutorials section though.
This has caused a lot more registrations to be able to log in to download and view attachments.
But it is a Great Achievement each time we Hit another Big Number
